Kynning á dómara deildarsýningar – Judith Echazarra

I have been in contact with the breed for 25 years, as cavaliers were my family pets when I was a teenager and lived with my mother. I want to the NE in France to look for a quality dog that I loved 20 years ago, when I finished my bachelor degree in Business Administations and Finance.  I fell in love with a small dog and in a very timid way wrote the breeder if she had ever a male I would be interested, without thinking at all on showing.  After a couple of months, as my husband had always shown since he was 14 we decided to show him having our first Champion and going to the NE and getting the RCC. Then he felt the showing attraction, and decided to buy a bitch and a girl, and show her.  And this is what we have done since then, breeding with passion and showing without expecting anything.

Results, never measure the work a breeder has deposited on a breed as there are many many variables. My view on the breed, is producing dogs in the breed standard, and never loosing that perspective.  We have showed in the UK, France, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Spain, World Championships and European Championship.  Sometimes it has gone well, sometimes it did not.  But the love for the breed is always there, to continue to show and breed dogs within in the breed standard understanding that when you show you compete against yourself.

Years ago I have got an invitation to judge, and then I felt it was a pity I could not live the experience.  I love the breed and I understand is a way to serve the breed, by being on the other side.

I am really looking forward to visit Iceland and see and touch your dogs, and I think it will enrich me personally and I hope it will pleasurable and enjoyable for all. Cavaliers breed shows, are a party of the breed, and we get together to celebrate we have the responsibility to breed, love and show.
